Overturned SUV causes severe delays on I-880 in Oakland

An SUV overturned early Wednesday on Interstate 880 and shut down three lanes in Oakland, resulting in major traffic delays during the morning commute, authorities said. The incident was reported just before 6:30 a.m. on southbound lanes near the 23rd Avenue off-ramp, according to the California Highway Patrol. A Chevy Trailblazer reportedly landed on its roof and crews were on scene working to clear the roadway. There was no immediate information on what caused the collision.
