One person aboard a small plane died when the aircraft crashed Monday morning at a military base in Concord, authorities said. The collision was reported about 11:30 a.m. near the Military Ocean Terminal at 5110 Port Chicago Highway, said Ian Gregor, a spokesman for the Federal Aviation Administration. The FAA reported that only one person was aboard the single-engine Cessna 152, which is a two-seat general aviation plane with a fixed tricycle gear. The aircraft is often used for flight training and personal use. Sarah Ravani is a San Francisco Chronicle staff writer. Email: sravani@sfchronicle.
