Reuben Foster’s ex-girlfriend took the stand Thursday in the 49ers linebacker’s felony domestic violence case and recanted allegations that he punched her in the head multiple times, saying she made up the entire story after he broke off their relationship. Elissa Ennis told police on Feb. 11 that Foster violently attacked her at his Los Gatos home, which led to a felony domestic violence and gun charge against the second-year player. But in a San Jose courtroom Thursday, Ennis testified that she got into a fight with two women in San Francisco before going to sleep at Foster’s home. Foster dumped her in the morning, she tearfully recounted on the stand.
