Man in custody fight charged with murdering wife at SF church

A man was charged Tuesday with murdering his estranged wife at a San Francisco church just a few months after she filed for divorce and a domestic violence restraining order, according to authorities and court records. Charges against Wyn Leung, 41, include murder and violating a protective order, among others, after he allegedly stabbed his wife to death. He’s being held in jail without bond. The charges stem from a domestic dispute reported to police at 2:11 p.m. Sunday at the Chinese Christian Church in the Ingleside Heights district. Leung allegedly stabbed his estranged wife, Jieyun Zhou, according to a law enforcement official who asked not to be named.
