Woman shoots husband to death in Union City, police say

A woman was arrested after allegedly shooting her husband to death Monday morning in Union City, authorities said. Officers were investigating the homicide just after 8 a.m. in the area of Feldspar Court after reports of a shooting inside a home, according to the Union City Police Department. A man was found with gunshot wounds and pronounced dead at the scene. His cohabitant, a woman believed to be his wife, was arrested for his death. Both the victim and suspect were not identified pending notification of next of kin. Authorities advised residents to avoid the Feldspar Court area for the next several hours as detectives investigate the scene.
